I've never used adobe illustrator before this module even though i've used various CG tools such as photoshop, flash, director, after effects, 3dmax etc for my projects during my poly years... I'm glad i get to learn how to use illustrator through this assignment (:

it's pretty tough for me to come up with these sketches - hand-drawn.. because frankly, i can't draw on paper..i can only do computer graphics.. i have no problem drawing using a mouse or a pen tool in illustrator but i can't sketch on paper... :'( but at least i did tried my best to come up with these sketches for the assignment..

Class Exercise 1

• Sketch a machine that enhances your creativity 100 times.
• Tools: A4 paper, pencil, pen, marker, color pencil etc.
• Rules/tips:
– The sketch should be detailed enough to express your machine.
– Describe how does it work in few lines (point form will do).
– The machine doesn’t need to be working realistically.
Just an idea, be imaginative.
